A little about me
In UX design, I’ve found the perfect place where storytelling, visual art & technology meet

Technology
Hawaiʻi Pacific University – Bachelors in Computer Science
I pursued computer science to understand how technology works—the logic, the structure, and the systems that hold digital products together. Over time, I realized something essential: a solution can be technically flawless and still fail the people who use it.
Discovering UX shifted my focus. Instead of asking only How do we build this? I began asking Are we building the right thing?
Storytelling
Working in Web Design
Every business has a story behind it—a vision, a history, a reason. Working with clients to build websites, I spent time listening to these stories before writing a single line of copy or shaping a single layout. My goal was always the same: to translate who they are into an experience users immediately understand.
This work reinforced a belief I carry into UX: good design communicates something. It clarifies values, builds trust, and helps users connect with what a brand is trying to say. That intersection of narrative and functionality continues to guide my approach to design.

visual art
Photography
My background in photography sharpened my instincts for composition and visual balance. Whether shooting portraits or nature, I learned how framing, contrast, and leading lines naturally guide attention; skills that carry directly into UI design.
Applying principles from visual art and Gestalt psychology, I love to create interfaces that guide users intuitively through a product. The aesthetics aren’t just added polish; they support usability and shape how people experience a design from the first glance.
